The dock type is reinforced concrete with constructed with reinforced concrete pile bents under a reinforced relieving platform. The dock has a fendering system of horizontal cylindrical rubber. There is 6500 m2 of open storage. Access to the harbour and turning basin is through a 72m wide by 2100m long dredged channel with limiting depth of 10m.
